Zookeepers are recreating scenes from ‘Jurassic World’ as part of the #JurassicZoo trend

Jurassic World has only been out for a week and already its inspired a pretty amazing Internet trend. Know that scene where Chris Pratt’s raptor trainer, Owen, stares down three raptors with literally his sheer might and out stretched hands? Well, now real life zookeepers are doing that same thing, and the results are hilarious.

Taking that same alpha-male stance, zookeepers are enlisting some of the animals they look after to recreate the scene from the movie. Planted stance in the ground? Check. Out stretched hands? Check. (At least) three animals? Check. (At least) three slight confused animals that kinda look like they’re thinking “um what is going on?” CHECK CHECK.

Zookeepers aren’t just doing it with fierce animals like lions and tigers and raptors, but furry, cuddlier, kinder animals, too. Llamas? Penguins? Others? All here. Here are some of our favorite examples of the #JurassicZoo trend from the Internet.

My favorites are the ones either involving the giant friendly animals, like the walrus, or the tiny tiny animals like the penguins. Well done, zookeepers of the world. You’re making Owen proud, and making us laugh.
