Zooey Deschanel just posted her first Instagram story and it’s predictably adorable
Our favorite boss lady, Zooey Deschanel, recently stopped by The Tyler Oakley Show to promote the newly released She and Him album (called Christmas Party!). And during her time on the show, the New Girl actress showed Oakley how to create DIY Christmas sweaters — but first Deschanel participated in her very first Instagram story.
You may have noticed that Deschanel has been absent from Instagram for a while, but according to her, she’s been pretty happy with the break. Although, she did admit to being one of the first people to sign up on the social media app.
"I feel like I was like user number 10 of Instagram. I was definitely [there] early on. Everyone was like, 'What is that?' And then I just...haven't...I love Instagram, I just haven't posted anything in a while."
Until now!
Well, technically she hasn’t posted anything on her OWN ‘gram, but she did make her comeback on The Ellen Show’s Instagram story — even if only a temporary comeback.
And then of course they DIY-ed some adorably ugly Christmas sweaters, and we basically can’t get enough of how lovable Zoey is.

We totally respect anyone who takes a break from social media, but selfishly, we’re definitely ready for Deschanel to start posting again!
