Zoe Kravitz’s romantic thriller “Vincent N Roxxy” looks like it’s going to be our newest obsession

We just saw the trailer for romantic thriller Vincent N Roxxy, and it’s everything. It’s sexy. It’s romantic. And it’s packed with action. But, the best part? It’s starring non other than badass rocker chic Zoe Kravitz, so you know it’s bound to be amazing.

Zoe plays Roxxy, opposite Emile Hirsch’s Vincent, as a street-wise chic trying to escape trouble. Vincent comes to Roxxy’s rescue just as she gets attacked by some street cats. And together, the couple fight for the right to love and stay alive. The premise sounds a little Bonnie and Clyde to us, and we’re totally here for it.

Zoe just finished lighting up the small screen in HBO’s Big Little Lies — where she impressed with her darling, yet deadly, performance as Bonnie. And before that, she totally wowed us as Nakia in Rick Famuyiwa’s Dope. In every role that she portrays, she always adds a bit of her inherent badassness — to which we can’t help but fall in love with each and every time.

Also starring in the anticipated film are Straight Outta Compton’s Jason Mitchell, Zoey Deutch from Why Him?, and Kid Cudi. Oh, and the scoring? Yeah, that’s expertly curated by the legendary Questlove of The Roots. Bottom line: this flick has the makings to become another cult classic, and we can’t wait to check it out.

By now, we know when we see Zoe Kravitz’s name in the credits, it’s going to be a project worth checking out. Seriously, what can’t the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet do? The correct answer is “nothing.” Because, she’s magical.

Vincent N Roxxy hits theaters June 2, and we’re more than prepared to be obsessed.
