Zendaya’s fans are called “ZSwaggers,” but she’s looking for a new name

Zendaya is all about keeping things hip, even when it comes to the name of her fans. While Nicki Minaj’s fans are called “Barbz” and Justin Bieber’s are “Beliebers,” Zendaya’s fans are called “ZSwaggers.” However, Zendaya would like to make that name a thing of the past.

“Now, ‘swag’ was a phase,” Zendaya explained to Jimmy Kimmel when she stopped by his show Wednesday night. “‘Swag’ is now over. It’s not the cool thing to do.” Being Zendaya’s fan is definitely the cool thing to do, so the 19-year-old star is on the hunt for a name to match.

People have been throwing a lot of options around, but they just haven’t been right. There’s “Dayaholics,” but as Zendaya explains, she’s a Disney star. She can’t be a “holic.” There’s also “Zoldiers,” which Jimmy pointed out sounds like a kind of medication.
