The relationship between a dog and its owner is pretty sacred. There’s a lot of love and connection between people and their pets. And it’s never easy to say goodbye to any loyal companion. Well, recently Zachary Quinto posted a heartfelt tribute to his dog after his passing. And it’s honestly bringing up too many emotions for us to handle.
For the last 14 years, Zachary Quinto shared his life with Noah.
According to the actor, the pooch was with him through major milestones. Unfortunately, as with all of our pets, Noah was getting old and passed away this past week. In addition to clearly missing his companion, Zachary made sure to explain just how much his best friend meant to him on social media. Noah was a big part of Mr. Quinto’s online presence.

The night he had to put Noah to sleep, Zachary Quinto wrote a truly heartfelt tribute, explaining his relationship with his dog.

He wrote,"Anyone who has ever truly known me in the last 14 years has known this true prince. Noah has been by my side through up and down. Thick and thin. Feast and famine. In loving him I learned to love myself more fully. He taught me compassion and patience and generosity... and oh how he made me laugh. He made friends wherever he went. His spirit was pure.
As if that weren’t enough, he continued.
“His love was legend. I am a better person for having had him in my life. But tonight we had to let him go. Surrounded by love he went to sleep. And may he forever rest in peace,” he wrote in the post’s caption.
Zachary’s long-time partner Miles McMillan also shared a touching post.
Clearly Noah passed surrounded by those who loved him and cared for him.
Rest in peace little buddy. Hope there are plenty of bones to chew on and grass for you to play on up there.
