Zachary Levi still really wants to make a “Chuck” movie happen, so take note, Hollywood

Start crossing your fingers, Chucksters because Zachary Levi is *seriously* trying to make a Chuck movie happen.
It hard to believe it’s been 10 years since Chuck Bartowski triggered the infamous intersect and we took our first trip to the Burbank Buy More. The NBC series was never much of a ratings monster but fans fell in love with the nerdy Chuck (Levi) and the series developed a cult following.
While the show went off the air in 2012 after five seasons, Chuck has regained its cult popularity with the help of Netflix and fans are dying to see what happened after that ambiguous finale. But fans aren’t the only ones who want to see more of Chuck.
In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Levi revealed he’s trying to make a Chuck movie happen and the rest of the cast is in.
"I’d love to do it. As far as I know, I’m the only person who’s affiliated with the show that’s been trying to make it happen on some level," he revealed to EW. "I’ve had meetings with various people. There’s just so many moving parts. The answer is I’d love to still make it happen, even if it’s 10 years down the line. Because of the world, it could still be plausible. It’s just difficult."
Levi added that the biggest roadblock would be obtaining the rights from Warner Bros. and getting a script together.
Film rights and the script aside, one thing Levi wouldn’t have to worry about is getting the cast together as he added to EW that the entire cast — including Yvonne Strahovski (Sarah), Adam Baldwin (Casey), Joshua Gomez (Morgan), Sarah Lancaster (Ellie), and Ryan McPartlin (Captain Awesome aka Devon) — are definitely on board.
"I went to the whole cast years ago and said, 'If I ever get a movie together, would you do it?' And everyone was like, 'We’re totally in,'" Levi revealed. "A lot of people have asked if we could do another season and there’s no way we could do another season. But I think that Chuck as a premise totally works to go do movies here and there. It’s a goofy American Bond."
Zach, if you need someone to write the script, I volunteer as tribute! With so many reboots and followup films happening, we *really* hope Chuck gets the sequel treatment!
