Zach Galifianakis just welcomed a son, and we’re so happy for him!

He was keeping this news under wraps, but what a way to brighten up the end of 2016! Actor and funny-person Zach Galifianakis welcomed a son last month, which now makes the 47-year-old a father of two.
This isn’t the first time that Galifianakis has been quiet about his family. When him and wife Quinn Lundberg had their first child back in 2013, Galifianakis waited until a 2014 appearance on The Tonight Show to spill the child’s sex. Both children are boys, and pretty darn lucky to have a father like Galifianakis to teach them the ropes.
The couple’s second child, reportedly named Rufus Emmanuel Lundberg, was born on November 7th.
Lundberg and Galifianakis wed in 2012 during a private ceremony in Vancouver, Canada, and have been together for quite some time prior to. Rumor has it that their wedding registry included an easy way for guests to donate to a fund that Lundberg put together that helps support domestic violence victims, called Growing Voices.
During an appearance on Conan earlier this year, Galifianakis joked that he’s a strict Dad.
"He's 2 and right now, I have him on a strict exercise routine," Galifianakis said. "Gets out of the crib and does 50 pushups right away... I run in place for eight seconds a day. And I feel like every little bit works -- helps out. So, you know, I think to have a really fit 2-year-old and to show that he can kick other 2-year-olds' butts is really important."
Miss hearing his one-liners? The second season of his show Baskets debuts on January 19th on FX.

Without a doubt, we know that the Lundberg/Galifianakis household probably has a lot of daily laughs. Many congratulations to the couple! We bet Rufus is a total sweetheart.
