Zac Efron fanboyed out over meeting the “Stranger Things” kids, and we get it
This is one reaction that totally makes sense. At the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards, Zac Efron met the Stranger Things cast and things got pretty adorable. While we all loved the first season of the Netflix hit, it’s pretty likely that Efron totally binge-watched the show as well.
For those who didn’t tune in, Stranger Things received a bunch of awards at last night’s event. Not only did actress Millie Bobby Brown win an early award for Best Actor, but the show itself won the brand new category of Show of the Year. It was definitely quite an honor, as they were up against some stiff competition.

But the best moment for Efron was handing over the award (which many commented was way heavier than it looked) to Brown. Last night, he posted this sweet shot on Instagram.
"Great to run into the #StrangerThings crew- even BETTER- handing @milliebobbybrown her 🍿," Efron wrote.
Looking at Brown’s expression in the photo, it seems like the feeling was definitely mutual!
Efron presented the award with actress Alexandra Daddario, his costar in the upcoming Baywatch movie. We have an inkling that Brown and the rest of the Stranger Things crew will make sure to catch it when it’s out in theaters on May 25th.
