You can drink butterbeer at this London bar to make your “Harry Potter” dreams a reality
If you’ve been putting off that bucket list trip to England, the best incentive ever has come knocking — a London bar is serving butterbeer. Yes, Harry Potter devotees, you read that correctly — and, if you’re feeling gloomy about the current state of the world, we can’t think of anything better than packing your bags and heading to London to live out the Harry Potter fantasy of drinking a cold glass of butterbeer.
Proving that not all heroes wear capes, the kind folks at Blind Pig in Soho, London have created the brew served at the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade and across the Wizarding World.
The libation of dreams, which Blind Pig has named Half a Pint o’ Buttah, contains Monkey Shoulder scotch, a botanical spirit distilled with ginseng, thyme liquor, butterscotch, and beer.
It’s an interesting mix, but the Blind Pig’s staff says the cocktail tastes like a “sweet herbaceous beer.” Sign us up!
If you can’t hop on the next plane to London, don’t fret — the drink will be available for the foreseeable future. Harry Potter is the gift that keeps on giving, are we right?
