Stop what you’re doing and watch the trippy new trailer for “A Wrinkle in Time”

The good news is that Disney has just dropped a brand new trailer for A Wrinkle in Time. The bad news is that the movie doesn’t open until March 2018, which means we’ve still got three-ish more months before we can see it. Can you even wait that long? Where’s a wrinkle in the fifth Dimension when you need it?

For those who aren’t living and breathing every update on Ava DuVernay’s latest movie, here’s what you need to know: The movie is based on the best-selling and iconic story by Madeleine L’Engle, which follows young Meg Murray on a quest through time and space to find her MIA father. Here, Meg is played by newcomer Storm Reid, and her dad is Chris Pine.

If you need more reasons to get on board with this movie, Meg is helped in her quest by three otherworldly beings, Mrs. Which,  Mrs. Whatsit, and Mrs. Who, played by Oprah, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling, respectively. If this isn’t already your favorite movie of 2018, something is horribly, horribly wrong.

While the latest trailer shows some footage we’ve seen before, it goes a lot deeper: We get a glimpse at Meg’s mother (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), along with her younger, brilliant brother, Charles Wallace (Deric McCabe) and friend along for the trip through space, Calvin (Levi Miller). All three of them are going to have to work together, along with the Mrs. Ws, to save Meg’s dad.

The trailer is absolutely gorgeous, and also super trippy. If you’ve ever wanted Ava to basically direct a kaleidoscope movie with a handful of your favorite women + Chris Pine, it’s time to start getting PUMPED. A Wrinkle in Time lands in theaters on March 9th, 2018.
