This world traveler has a very unique way of checking in with his mom

We all know how much it means to our moms when we check in and let them know how we’re doing — especially if it’s been a while, or if we’re doing something dangerous, like y’know, skydiving or roaming around with alligators (or are those crocodiles?). That’s why Jonathan Quiñonez never misses a check-in with his mom — no matter where he is in the world.

He’s created the Instagram account momimfine (currently at a healthy 115k followers!) to help his mom and the rest of us keep up with his travels. He’s currently traveling through Latin America, but it sounds like he wants to travel the rest of the world, as well.

According to this Imgur post, Jonathan is a former model from Brussels who hated his work and decided to quit and travel the world. However, he needed a way to keep in touch with his mom, thus momimfine was born!

His Instagram bio says, “Whatever your age is, if you have a latin mom and a passion for adventure, you will have to find a way to tell her that you are fine. This is my way.” We think that’s super cute, and we’re sure his mom loves the pictures as much as we do. Keep traveling, Jonathan!
