The screenwriter behind “Wonder Woman” has a new project — and it’s a pilot for Shonda Rhimes
Two Hollywood powerhouses are about to come together for a new television show — and it’s pretty much the dream team we never knew we needed.
Writer Allan Heinberg, the screenwriter behind Wonder Woman, and Shonda Rhimes, the creator of Scandal, How to Get Away With Murder, and just about every other tantalizingly terrifying show out there, are teaming up for an upcoming ABC pilot, tentatively called Adult Behavior.
The show will be a “a sexy, multi-generational, comedic drama,” based on the LGBT-centered British television series Cucumber and Banana.
That’s about all we know about the premise right now, but this isn’t Heinberg’s first time hopping on the Shondaland bandwagon. He’s already written for Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy, and served as an executive producer on both shows as well, so we trust that we’re in good hands.
If you needed any more convincing, he’s also penned episodes for Gilmore Girls, The O.C., and Sex and the City. (And one more time for good measure…WONDER WOMAN.)
Any chance we could use this opportunity to throw in some sort of cross-television reunion with Lorelai, Rory, Seth, Ryan, and Carrie & co.? Please and thank you, and can’t wait to watch.
