First footage of Wonder Woman’s invisible jet is here, and you have to see it to believe it
New photos and videos from the set of Wonder Woman 1984 are making their way around the internet, and we are seriously excited — and it has nothing to do with Chris Pine wearing a fanny pack. Not even a little bit.
It’s been just one week since Warner Brothers revealed that filming for the newly titled sequel to the breakout superhero film had started and we’re already learning so much. First, the DCEU Gods gifted us with two photos from the upcoming film, one of which featured Gal Gadot looking as poised as ever as Diana Prince. However, the other photo nearly broke the internet as it confirmed Chris Pine’s return as the presumed dead Steve Trevor. Then, before we could fully recover from the revelation that the American spy survived certain death — and Chris pine would be back and looking A++ — leaked set photos featured Pine wearing a fanny pack which can only mean one thing: Steve Trevor is 100% embracing the ’80s. Is it 2019, yet?
While Wonder Woman 1984 sees the return of Diana’s iconic Lasso of Truth, she’ll also be armed with some new gadgets. In addition to an updated costume, it appears Wonder Woman’s famed Invisible Jet will finally make an appearance…well, sort of.
New footage from the set feature a costumed Gadot wearing a harness, cruising down a busy street, seemingly in an invisible vehicle of sorts.

Of course, we don’t know for sure that the Invisible Jet makes an appearance, but it’s certainly not the Batmobile — or a DeLorean.
The film, which follows Diana Prince nearly 70 years after the events of Wonder Woman, finds the titular superhero taking on a new villain during the Cold War: The Cheetah (Kristen Wiig). In addition to Gadot, Pine, and Wiig, Game of Thrones alum Pedro Pascal has also been cast in an unknown major role. Meanwhile, the legendary Patty Jenkins is returning to direct the film.
Wonder Woman 1984 is set to hit theaters on November 9th, 2019.
