Gal Gadot unveiled a new Wonder Woman 1984 poster, and her costume looks COMPLETELY different

We’re still a year out from the release of Wonder Woman 1984, but that doesn’t mean we’re completely in the dark about it. Wonder Woman herself Gal Gadot and the film’s director Patty Jenkins shared a picture of Diana Prince’s new look in the upcoming film. And tbh, her costume is giving us a completely different vibe.

Although Warner Bros. is opting out of attending San Diego ComicCon in July, fans have been chomping at the bit waiting for another glimpse at Wonder Woman 1984. So Jenkins and Gadot gave them the goods.

Are you seeing this gold armor? Wonder Woman has gone full Golden Eagle, and our hearts have nearly stopped.

Jenkins later tweeted the same image with the caption: “One… year… from… TODAY… #WW84.”

Gadot shared the same image on both her Instagram and Twitter pages. “I cannot wait to share #WW84 with you all!!” she tweeted, quoting Jenkins’ previous tweet. “Until then we thought you might want to see this..”

Those colors though! Who gave her permission? (Answer: Wonder Woman doesn’t need your permission.)

As Entertainment Weekly notes, Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor is returning (somehow) in WW84, and Kristen Wiig is playing Diana Prince’s archenemy Cheetah (which is perfect casting, in our opinion). Pedro Pascal, formerly of Game of Thrones, will also appear in the film in an unnamed role.

We don’t know about you, but this photo has quelled our anxieties and piqued our curiosity. June 5th, 2020 cannot come soon enough.
