This woman has spent $14,000 to transform into almost every Disney princess you can imagine

Wearing costumes is never not fun. Whether you’re dressing up for Halloween, ’80s-themed dance parties, Mardi Gras, or really any reason you could possibly imagine — wearing costumes allows you to look like someone you’re not, and sometimes even feel like someone else. And often times, the people you dress as are people you really admire.

In one really dedicated woman’s case, those people are Disney Princess. Lots of them.

Sarah Ingle is a Disney impersonator and is extremely devoted to her job. The 25-year-old from Denver, Colorado has spent over $14,000 on costumes for the nine Disney characters she impersonates: Snow White, Belle, Ariel, Cinderella, Aurora, Rapunzel, Merida from Brave, and Elsa and Anna from Frozen. That’s more than $1,000 per costume, in case you don’t feel like doing the math.

Spending $14,000 may seem like a ridiculous amount of money to spend, but to Ingle, it’s totally worth it. Because she absolutely loves what she does.

“It takes a lot of time to get into the outfits because they have lots of layers that tie up at the back,” Ingle told Hotspot Media. “Then I have a different wig and makeup look for each princess. I have to contour my face when I play Aurora from Sleeping Beauty because my face is much rounder than hers. And as I have hazel eyes, I have to wear blue contact lenses for the Little Mermaid and Elsa from Frozen.”  

“I was born with really big eyes, and people were always telling me that I looked like a cartoon doll or Disney princess. I suppose that my big eyes just help me to appear more cartoon-like, which is great for what I do.”
