Winter in Finland is basically the most gorgeous thing ever, as proven by these photos
We have big dreams of traveling all over the world, and we’re currently in awe of these captivating photos showing the beauty of the Finnish winter. Ever since we came across these stunning shots by Yuichi Yokota, a Japanese photographer, we’ve been dying to book a trip of our own to experience winter in Finland for ourselves. After you see these pics, we’re pretty sure you will be, too.
The photographer’s trip to Finald started off on a strong note because he came across the aurora borealis, one of the world’s most beautiful sights of all. Like, wow.
This shot of arctic mushing blew us away. Just look at that sunset in the distance!
And it only gets better. This arctic sunset is the most stunning blend of oranges and blues, and that sliver of moon is GLORIOUS.
Here, the sky is just as beautiful. We’ve never seen winter quite like this, but we heart it so much.
And, OMG. Can we talk about all this snow?! We’re freezing just looking at it.
But talk about a work of art! Winter in Finland is apparently a must-see.
We’d suffer through the cold if it means being surrounded by this much incredible nature!
