This woman put wine in her fridge’s water dispenser and OMG she’s a genius

A woman became a national hero when she turned her fridge’s water dispenser into a chilled white wine dispenser.

Clare Potts, 28, came up with the ingenious life-hack shortly after moving into her new home.

"We've just bought a house and we're in the process of buying all the grown up things we need," Potts wrote to Mashable in an email. "My boyfriend Joe was telling me [the fridge] came with a wine rack and I just said 'why don't we just put it in the water cooler?' It seemed like the obvious thing to do," she joked.

Potts says the hack is actually quite simple: You just add wine to the water tank and use the dispenser as normal.

While fun for parties, Potts says it’s not a long-term solution.

"It needs to be washed out after though so it doesn't get clogged," she advised, "Oxidized wine is not nice, so drink fast!"
