Will Smith’s bungee jumping video is an adrenaline-filled joy ride we are glad to experience from afar

It’s no secret that Will Smith is a risk-taker — just take a look at some of his movie roles (Independence Day, anyone?). Well now, we can all check out this mini movie, of sorts. Will Smith’s bungee jumping video is an adrenaline-filled joy ride we are glad to experience from afar. New Musical Express posted the video of Smith’s jump, and we’re still recovering. It’s HIGH up there. Yet it’s also ~AH-mazing~.

The jump was off the Victoria Falls Bridge. ICYMI, the river below is the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia — the bridge literally links the two countries. And, via his bungee jumping, Smith shows us he’s not just an action hero in movies, but IRL, too.

“This is going to be a cool shot, Smith said to the camera as he jumped. “This is crazy, bungee jumping Victoria Falls, I’ve been wanting to do this for like almost 20 years.

Well, mission accomplished. As you know, a lot of people love bungee jumping, whether they do it for their birthday or as something to cross off their bucket list. So we’re glad Smith got to do this jump.

Here’s the video so you can see Smith’s jump in all its glory (and slight terror, if you’re afraid of heights).

If you watched, you’ll see that Smith said the jump was “fantastic.” We agree! In case you’re wondering what he’s been up to lately, he recently appeared in the trailer for the Carpool Karaoke TV series. Yup, we can’t wait!

You may have seen the first trailer screen during the Grammys.

However, the new trailer is longer, and you can see Smith and James Corden rapping the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song. They also do Big Willie’s “Gettin’ Jiggy With It,” then R Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly” — while flying a helicopter. But, as the above shows us, Smith definitely proves that “I Believe I Can Fly” is something he can do. Speaking of which, now we’re adding #BungeeJumpingGoals to our to-do list. Anyone else?
