Will ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ stop filming forever after Kim’s robbery? Here’s what we know so far
Fans of the hit TV show are all curious about one thing: Will Keeping Up With The Kardashians continue after Kim’s robbery in Paris, or will it go off the air forever? While, of course, the most important factor of all is making sure that Kardashian/Jenner family and friends are safe, fans are super invested in the series and definitely hoping that the show will resume for its 12th season. After all, since the show originally aired in 2007, people have been following the lives of the Kardashians and are super invested.
As of right now, it appears that E! has neither confirmed nor denied that the show will return. “Kim’s well-being is our core focus right now. No decision has been made as to when production will resume,” an E! spokesperson told CNN recently. This makes a lot of sense: Even if viewers are curious, the privacy and comfort of those actually on camera matters way more than answering our questions.
According to a representative of the show, it appears that Kim is physically unharmed, but super shaken up, which is TOTALLY understandable given the trauma she experienced. Emotionally recovering from having your personal space invaded and being the victim of a robery can be a long, complicated process for anyone, and doing it on camera for TV may be too much for anyone to handle.
So, as of right now, it appears that the show IS on hold, but we don’t know for certain if, or when, it will return. In the meantime, we should send our positive thoughts and energy to the whole Kardashian clan while they heal from this super scary incident.
