Will Ferrell plays Little Debbie and makes us want all the snack cakes

Last night on The Tonight Show, Will Ferrell sat, wearing a blue plaid dress, curly brown wig, and straw hat, in front of a giggling Jimmy Fallon. “What’s, uh. . .what’s with the costume?” Fallon said. “You mean this dress?” Ferrell said through a big giant grin. “I have to wear it . . . I’m the new face of Little Debbie snack cakes.”

We’ll never look at Zebra Cakes the same again. Will is just kind of adorable in his costume, and he’s always brilliant at being straight-faced in the most random of circumstances. Basically, it’s comedy gold and proof that Will should really be the snack cake spokesperson.

Fallon’s main question for Ferrell was, essentially, why are you doing this? Ferrell’s answer was composed two hilarious parts: firstly, his passion for Little Debbie snacks. “I love them so much,” Ferrell claimed, “that if I close my eyes and eat something, I can tell you whether it’s a tasty Debbie delight or a plain baked potato.” And his skills were, indeed, put to the test.

But that’s not the only reason. “Let’s be honest, Jim,” Ferrell says, “I’m not the Hollywood hunk I once was.” Oh, Will, we still think you’re a hunk.

Check out the whole hilarious skit below, and remember: it’s LITTLE Debbie, not L’il Debbie.
