Who’s winning the election so far? Here’s what the polls say

By now, we sure do hope you know it’s Election Day. And we all have one question: who’s winning the election so far? While we still have a long way to go before we know who our next president is, there have been a number of polls that are giving us the inside scoop. We’re seriously biting our nails over here. We’re so curious about who will come out on top and end this massively stressful election!

Here’s what we know so far.

According to a CBS News Poll, Hillary Clinton was winning the presidential election as of Monday.

 Clinton held a 4-percentage-point lead over Trump the day before the election. So who’s voting for who? Also according to CBS News, Trump has the lead among men, while Clinton has a major advantage with women. TBH, we can’t say we’re surprised, especially considering the sexism that continued to come forward as we got closer and closer to election day.

So there you have it, folks. We won’t know who’s winning the election until the results come in late tonight, but polls tend to be a pretty decent indicator, though there’s always room for mistakes. Especially when you take into consideration those who are choosing to vote third party, polls are only so accurate.
