Game of Thrones has turned a lot of low-key British actors into household names. Who even WAS Kit Harrington before Jon Snow? Just some hot guy?

But before we fell in love with GoT‘s perfect cast, and they became celebrities in their own right, there were a lot of other actors who ALMOST made it.

Before Sophie Turner landed the role of Sansa Stark, a little-known actress named Izzy Meikle-Small almost had it. You might know Izzy from playing young Charlize Theron in Snow White and the Huntsman.

She once told the Huffington Post about her near-cast as Sansa, saying she’s not mad at it, because she didn’t want to do all that nudity anyway.

“I got to the final two to play Lady Sansa Sark,” she said. “I was a bit sad, because the show’s massive, but I’m not that unhappy, because they all show a lot of flesh, don’t they? I don’t think my parents would be happy.”
