Here’s where you can (thankfully) stream “Get Out” before the Oscars

While Get Out was beloved by critics and audiences alike, that didn’t necessarily mean it was guaranteed to be nominated at the 2018 Oscars. But Jordan Peele made history when he became the third filmmaker ever to have his movie nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay at the Oscars. Not to mention that star Daniel Kaluuya nabbed a nomination for Best Actor. If you haven’t seen Get Out yet — well, it’s beyond time for you to get on that. And thankfully, we know where to stream Get Out before the Oscars on March 4th.

It’s pretty common for movies that are hoping to get nominated at the Oscars to be released toward the end of the calendar year. That way, they are at the forefront of Academy voters’ minds. Get Out didn’t play those Oscar games, since it actually came out in movie theaters nearly a year ago on February 24th, 2017.

If for some inconceivable reason you haven’t watched Get Out in the last year, you’re kind of in luck. Beyond Get Out being released in movie theaters again, you have multiples ways to stream it from the comfort of your own home. (That’s pretty ideal if you scare easily because you can control the lighting situation.)

For $14.99, you can stream Get Out on Amazon, iTunes, and YouTube.

But if you have an HBO subscription, don’t pay anything extra, since you can stream Get Out for free.

You can stream Get Out if you have HBO as part of your cable package on HBO Go. If you don’t have cable, it’s also available through HBO Now. And pro-tip: you can get a free one-month trial of HBO Now.

Even if you’ve already used up your free trial (cause, let’s be real, you probably did to stream Game Of Thrones), a month-long subscription only costs $14.99. And pssst — that’s the same price as streaming Get Out on those other platforms. Plus, you’ll have access to everything else HBO has to offer if you go that route, so it’s a win-win.

Whether you saw Get Out when it first came out and want to be reminded of its greatness or are trying to right the terrible wrong of having not seen it yet, plenty of streaming options await you. So don’t delay because you’re gonna want to understand all of Jimmy Kimmel’s inevitable sunken place jokes come Oscars night.
