When will Meghan Markle and Prince Harry get married?

We were expecting an announcement, and it’s finally official — Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are getting married. While the two have been pretty private about their relationship, there are a few things we know for sure. The two met in July 2016 after being introduced to each other by a mutual friend. From there, things got serious pretty quickly.

We’ve been familiar with Prince Harry for quite some time, but Markle — known best for her role on Suits and for being a United Nations advocate — became more of a household name after rumors of their romance came to light. In fact, their relationship was revealed after the Royal Kensington Palace released a statement for the press and fans of the family to back off Markle, as she had quickly become a target for harassment: “It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm,” the statement read. “He knows commentators will say this is ‘the price she has to pay’ and that ‘this is all part of the game’. He strongly disagrees. This is not a game – it is her life and his.”

In September, Markle covered Vanity Fair, and in the interview admitted that the pair were in love. Based on news of the engagement, we have a feeling that they’ve got lasting chemistry. But the big question on everyone’s mind is, when will the wedding happen? false

According to an official statement, the wedding will occur in the spring of 2018 — so we won’t have to wait that long.

"Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course," the statement clarified.

Markle’s parents are equally as excited about the upcoming wedding, and have released their own statement about the engagement.

We know this is going to be an event to remember. And if Markle needs any help planning her spring wedding, she should give us a call — we’d love to help out.
