Mercury is entering Pisces on Monday, so refrain from making big decisions
On Monday, February 3rd, Mercury will enter Pisces and will remain in this sign for longer than it usually does. Why? Well, Mercury will begin its retrograde dance on February 17th, so you can expect communication issues to arise.
Because Mercury represents our communication and cognitive process, it rules over anything related to messages and movement. But when Mercury is in Pisces (aka the sign of dreams, imagination, and confusion), it can take on this sign’s qualities and become aloof and mysterious.
Starting on February 3rd, our minds and communication patterns will be more porous and dreamy.
Use this time to dream and imagine the impossible. Paint, write a script, or journal about your wildest dreams. Even begin to take small steps toward those lofty ideals. But it’s important to remember to not go off the deep end when it comes to making big decisions. Now is not the time to sell your house, go sail on a catamaran in the Caribbean, or make huge changes in your romantic relationships. If you do, you might wake up a month from now wondering why you made those decisions in the first place.
However, this is a wonderful time to see things differently—but there is a difference between seeing and doing. Instead of taking action or making bold decisions, dream what your future can look like from the comfort and safety of your bed.
When Mercury is in Pisces, you may find that your mind is less resistant to doing things you’ve been meaning to accomplish. For instance, if doing meditation has been on your to-do list, you may feel it’s now easier to give it a go. Just gently push yourself to try it again. You never know what might come out of the situation.
Of course, with Mercury in retrograde and Mercury in Pisces, miscommunication is bound to occur. Wven though you typically think in terms of images and technicolor, be mindful that mishaps can happen even before the retrograde. So stay safe out there and double-check your work to prevent errors from happening.
