When are the Olympics over? We swear we’re not trying to be a buzzkill
We know, we know — the Olympics just started! We’re in no way trying to rush the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Games along, but it’s important to know when things are going to wrap up. So, when are the Olympics over? Luckily, for all you Olympics fanatics, you still have plenty of time to watch the world’s best and brightest compete. But come February 25th, the PyeongChang Olympics will finally come to a close.
On the 25th, bobsled, cross-country, curling, and hockey will close out the Games with their medal competitions. Then, the closing ceremony will take place at 8 p.m. Korea Standard Time (KST), or 6 a.m. American EST.
Word on the street is that the closing ceremony will feature some of South Korea’s beloved K-pop groups like EXO, known for songs like “Ko Ko Bop” and “CALL ME BABY.” And rumor has it that EXO will be joined by former 2ne1 member and rapper, CL. If you’re a K-pop fan, you’ll absolutely want to tune in (or at least set your DVR).
And remember MILCK, the Korean-American musician whose song “Quiet” quickly became the anthem for the 2017 Women’s March? She’s also reportedly going to be at the Closing Ceremony to perform her empowering track. Fingers crossed she has a massive chorus behind her because those harmonies give us ~chills~.

There will supposedly be several other performers joining EXO and CL at the PyeongChang Closing Ceremonies as well. But many of these appearances are still semi-unconfirmed, so we’ll just have to wait patiently to see who shows up.

Even though we don’t want the Olympics to end, we’re pretty excited for this closing ceremony. We might just have to wake up at 6 a.m. to watch in real time.
