What’s in Starbucks’s Christmas Tree Frappuccino? Get ready for a sweet tooth’s dream
Starbucks’s latest Frappuccino creation sounds like a sweet tooth’s dream drink. The Christmas Tree Frappuccino is meant to look like an actual Christmas tree, and while that’s cute and all, we just want to know what’s inside the Christmas Tree Frappuccino.
In a press release, Starbucks described the drink as, “featuring festive flavors of the season, the Christmas Tree Frappuccino starts with a Peppermint Mocha Crème Frappuccino topped with a majestic Matcha whipped cream ‘tree’ that is decorated with caramel drizzle garland, candied cranberry ornaments and finished with a strawberry tree topper.”
Let’s break this down.
If you order the Christmas Tree Frappuccino, you’re getting…
1. A Peppermint Mocha Creme Frappuccino base — That’s milk, peppermint-flavored syrup, and mocha sauce.
2. Matcha whipped cream.
3. Caramel drizzle.
4. Candied cranberries.
5. A strawberry slice as garnish.
If this ultra sweet treat is up your alley, get thee to a Starbucks stat, this drink is only available until December 11th.
Based on the photos of the drink shared to social media, they really do look like drinkable trees. The IRL drink lives up to the marketing image.
