What is the cast of “Friday Night Lights” up to now?
There are some TV shows that were so good that even years after they’ve been off the air goes by, you still wonder what the characters would be up to if you were still able to peek in on their lives.
NBC’s “Friday Night Lights” ended their 5 season run just over five years ago and some of the leads of the show have landed themselves in some equally amazing roles since leaving the fictional small town in rural Texas.
Here’s a look at what our favorite characters from Dillon, Texas, are doing now.
Kyle Chandler (Eric Taylor) then:

Kyle’s now starring on the Netflix series “Bloodline” playing another cop role with a lot more family secrets than he had back in Dillon.
Connie Britton (Tami Taylor) then:

After leaving “Friday Night Lights” Connie starred in the first season of “American Horror Story” before joining the cast of “Nashville” as the unforgettable Rayna James.
Aimee Teegarden (Julie Taylor) then:

Aimee has landed several roles in TV movies and recently wrapped production on a new TV show “Notorious” which will air on ABC this fall.
Taylor Kitsch (Tim Riggins) then:

During the show, Taylor landed lead roles on several movies, but since leaving his role as one of the favorites on “Friday Night Lights” as the troubled teen, he portrayed Officer Paul Woodrugh in the second season of HBO’s hit “True Detective.”
Minka Kelly (Lyla Garrity) then:

After the show, Minka went on to star as Detective Valerie Stahl on the TV series “Almost Human,” and she portrayed Miranda Frank on a few episodes of “The Path.”

Our favorite underdog went on to land a role on the TV show “Fargo” playing Ed Blumquist who also has a complicated history with the ladies.

Zach left Dillion and did a couple episodes of the hilarious show “Drunk History” before landing a role on the new ABC TV show “The Family” playing Danny Warren.

Adrianne can currently be seen on the ABC TV show “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” playing the kick-butt role of Bobbi Morse.
