This one ~look~ ruled the AMAs and you need to rock it ASAP

It might be Monday already, but we’re still dreaming of the weekend and reliving the American Music Awards over and over in our heads. The biggest thing we can’t get over is the one hair look that ruled the AMAs — slicked back hair!

While the night was all about music on Sunday, its the slicked back hairdos that stole the red carpet in our minds. Actresses and singers alike rocked this funky, fun trend and you need to try it ASAP. Seriously, it’s both sophisticated and edgy at the same time and super cool.

Jenny McCarthy attended the event with her husband Donnie Wahlberg, but all eyes were on her and her rockstar take on the slicked back hair trend.

Her choker necklace and smokey eye look took her rocker hair vibe to the next level.

Actress Teyana Taylor looked sexy and chic with her 'do, which looked like she just got out of the shower, but also spent a great amount of time on her appearance.

Hannah Jeter totally slayed the red carpet with her interpretation of the hairstyle.

We love that it's not too wet on top and looks both casual and put together. Plus, her 'do shows off her ear candy, which we love.

Singer Daya channeled her dark side with her overall look that included a chocker, dangling earrings and of course, slicked back hair.

The best example of this sexy new hairstyle came from the show’s co-host, Gigi Hadid.

The model looked like she just stepped off a high-fashion runway with her perfectly coiffed 'do as she hit the carpet.

Throughout the night, Hadid rocked the sassy style, and even added a little more volume.

Seriously, what's not to love about Hadid's take on the slicked back hairstyle? She looks so fierce!

Selena Gomez also got in on the slicked back look, but spiced it up by pulling her locks into a flowy, low ponytail.

Even Karlie Kloss jumped on the sleek trend bandwagon, but opted for a high pony instead of keeping her hair down like the other stars.

Which slicked back look do you like best? Would you try this hairstyle?
