WestJet plays Santa for families in the Dominican Republic and fulfills their Christmas wishes
Canadian airline WestJet has become known for its generous and heartwarming videos. Last year, they surprised lucky passengers by giving them the gifts that they wanted most, and the video was a lovely way to thank people for their business. This year, they took their “Christmas Miracle” to the Dominican Republic to visit a community in one of their most popular Caribbean destinations, where they have been working since 2012 to “build new homes for families living in extreme poverty” and to do something kind for a community that needs it. This video is going viral because the spirit behind it was simply to surprise everyone with the gifts they wanted. With most companies throwing huge amounts of money into their holiday commercials, this was the best way for WestJet to stand out and get us all to watch. . . and maybe get a little sentimental.
