We’re cracking up over this video of Megan Mullally reciting old-fashioned sex advice

We love celebrities who are open. And while we knew she was game for chatting about anything before, this video of Megan Mullally reacting to old-fashioned sex advice is simply incredible. Thanks to the folks at Glamour, who put it all together, we can learn a little bit about the history of sex in a pretty hilarious way.
Mullally starts by reading and truly thinking about a few sex-related quotes that date all the way back to the 1600’s and 1800’s. The first one is especially interesting:
"I would have no woman tantalize a man with her hand, since she hath a more proper place to receive and bestow his instrument."
Uh. Well, okay then.
Having Mullally flip through them all and give her opinions is something we wish someone thought up much sooner.

She seriously cracks us up. We wish this video was longer than two minutes and 47 seconds. In fact, we wish this video was truly a weekly TV show that never faced the perils of cancellation.
Probably the strangest quote overall? The one from 1917, which states that an active libido from either a man or a woman is grounds for divorce.
"I have known two women who have had this problem," Mullally said, then discussing couples who had one partner that wanted sex multiple times per day. "But in 1917, probably just wanting to have sex like, once a month was considered excessive," she concluded.
Since this video ends with a 2008 quote, we’d love to have a sequel sometime soon. Sure, it’s just about to become 2017 — which is not too far from 2008 — but since visions and ideals about sex change quite often, we’re sure Mullally would still have some good material.
