We can’t wait to get our hands (and lips) on MAC Cosmetics’s new Lip Scrubtious collection
The winter cold can be harsh on our skin and our lips, which is why we’re so thrilled MAC Cosmetics is launching a new Lip Scrubtious collection that is bound to keep our lips healthy and kissable through the winter months. According to a press release from MAC Cosmetics, the sugar-based exfoliator “gently buffs away dry and flaky skin,” which means it’s the ultimate tool for those of us who live in locations where the weather can be a little harsh.
The products contain shea butter and grapeseed oils which are added to soften and hydrate — sounds like literal heaven for anyone who struggles with dry lips.
MAC Global Senior Makeup Artist Ashley Rudder posted a photo of the new MAC lip scrubs on her Instagram account and she, and everyone else, got understandably excited. “I’m falling in love with these incredible new lip scrubs by @maccosmetics!!” Rudder captioned, along with a photo of the gorgeous bright pots.
Because there can never be too much of a good thing, the company decided to gift us all with five delish flavors, and each one sounds incredible.

The MAC Cosmetics Scrubtious line is a permanent fixture, not a special edition, so there will be a lot of hydrated lips in the future for those of us who struggle. The new lip collection, which costs $16 a pop, will be available January 12th at all MAC locations in the US and internationally in mid-March.
