We cannot wait for Drew Barrymore’s new Netflix series!

We love basically everything Netflix has ever done, and when you add Drew Barrymore to a new Netflix series, we already know it’s going to be good. The comedy TV show will air solely on the streaming service, hopefully continuing the awesome run they’ve had with their original content. It’s also been a little while since we’ve seen Drew Barrymore in front of the camera (she’s been doing a lot of behind-the-scenes work lately), but she is comedy gold and we’re excited!

Santa Clarita Diet, starring Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant, will hit Netflix on Friday, February 3rd and it sounds like a comedy we can absolutely get behind.

This is what we know about the show so far: The story follows husband and wife, Joel (Olyphant) and Sheila (Barrymore), who are realtors living in the LA suburb of Santa Clarita. It’s hard to say if they’re really happy or not, and then a big dramatic change (yet to be revealed) comes through Sheila and well…their lives are changed forever.

Their life is turned upside down and “down a road of death and destruction…but in a good way,” Netflix said in a release.

Both Barrymore and Olyphant serve as executive producers on the show and we’re counting down the days until we can binge on this Netflix original!
