Watch a teaser of Lady Gaga’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race” cameo

Gentlemen start your engines, and may the best woman win as we’re only a few weeks away from the return of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and Lady Gaga’s opening episode cameo.

It was announced last week (March 2nd) that the ninth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race would be returning to our screens on March 24th! What’s more, it was ruvealed that the show would be coming to a new network, too: VH1.

Previously, Drag Race fans were gifted with an intro to the queens of season nine who will be competing for the coveted crown of America’s Next Drag Superstar. What’s more, following her incredible Super Bowl performance, it was announced that Lady Gaga(!) would be gracing the judging panel for the first time.

Well, it seems that a teaser of Lady Gaga’s cameo in RuPaul’s Drag Race has been leaked, and we can’t get enough of it.

It appears that some lucky so-and-sos were given a sneak peak at the opening episode of the dragtastic reality show, which recently picked up it’s first Emmy award, and Gaga’s role in the opening episode looks hilarious.

Those familiar with Drag Race will know that in the opening episode of each season, the queens enter the workroom in fabulous style and introduce themselves.

Well, it seems that in keeping with that tradition, Gaga decides to enter the workroom in similar fashion. Gaga introduces herself to camera as Ronnie, from New Jersey, and it seems she also fools the competing queens, too. false

SICKENING!

Meanwhile, RuPaul recently teased Gaga’s cameo while appearing on GMA, saying she fit right in to the whole Drag Race ethos.

"She [Lady Gaga] tweeted my several years ago, but it took this long to get the schedules together. She’s on the show opener. It is so much fun, everyone is going to love it," RuPaul said. "She started in New York City clubs, like myself, she started around drag queens and the downtown culture so she felt right at home," he finished.

Similarly, RuPaul talked about why Drag Race was such an important show.

“I just love that in this political culture right now that we get to show that love is strong,” he said. “We are Americans and we believe in open hearts. We believe in love, acceptance and this show is so important more now than ever.”

Tbh, we couldn’t agree more.

RuPaul’s Drag Race returns on its new home VH1 on March 24th.
