WANT/NEED: A tea kettle that’ll make you feel like a fancy duchess, and more stuff you want to buy

My friends will ask me for my personal recommendations sometimes, since they know I’m a product/shopping obsessive. But a while back, a friend asked me for a rec that I did not have an answer to: a great tea kettle. I was not particularly happy with my old one and did not have a fabulous, cute recco for her. So I told her to sit tight and I’d do my homework. Every home should have a great tea kettle, and I’m obsessed with the Presley Tea Kettle from Apollo Box. I love that it looks like it’s straight out of an expensive British department store, but at $45.99, it’s super affordable. This whistling kettle heats up my tea perfectly and in style. (At the moment I’m very into lemon balm tea; it helps if you have trouble falling asleep!) It comes in rose gold, navy, red and blue — but you KNOW which color is my fave. I don’t even have to say, do I?? 

Scentered Love Therapy Balm

Last week was an oddly busy week, so I found myself reaching for this “Love Therapy Balm” from Scentered. On the website the description says it helps when you are “feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained or simply out of sorts.” The citrus and floral notes of orange, rose and jasmine with woodsy clove instantly gives me a feeling of peace and zen. I just apply to my wrist and inhale deeply.

Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads

I’m very in to facial peel pads because I never get to the facialist as often as I’d like, and these babies are the perfect solution. I love Elemis for their Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and their under eye patches, so I was very interested in trying their Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads. I don’t know if it’s all the trips to the pool or the glasses of rosé on the weekend, but my skin has been a little tired and dull recently. I really needed something that would slough away the dead cells hanging out on the top o’ my dermis, aka skin.  I used it the other night after cleansing and then again in the morning, and immediately my skin felt bright, tight, and right. 

Bare Sea Salt Carrot Chips

I know what you’re thinking: carrot chips? Yes, y’all. These things are DELICIOUS. They’re honestly as tasty as a bag of potato chips, and ooo, I love me some potato chips. They have the sea salt flavor, yes, but they are oh so much healthier than a greasy bag of potato chips. They are light, tasty, and entirely gluten-free with no added sugar. I’ve been snackin’ on these all week.
