“The Walking Dead” is coming back, let’s discuss the just-released first four minutes
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and you know what that means: It’s almost time for the mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead. AMC clearly knows that we’ve all been struggling since the show’s mid-season finale back in November, because instead of posting a teaser trailer they gifted us with the first four minutes Sunday’s episode.
Yes, the first. Four. Minutes.
Picking up right where the finale left off, Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham are forced to hand over their weapons to the biker gang that stopped them on the way back to Alexandria. Abraham resists, but only for a second — these aren’t guys to mess with. The bikers lay things out pretty clearly: They are going to Alexandria with the crew, taking all of their stuff, and turning it all over to Negan.
Speaking of Negan, we still don’t know too much about the baddie, who will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. But the lead biker does throw down quite the gauntlet, telling Abraham that they usually kill one person as a way of greeting. Like I said, not a dude you wanna mess with. The clip cuts out right at a predictably tense cliff hanger, with the fates of two people hanging in the balance.
Um, is it Sunday yet?
