Wait — there might be another “Sex and the City” movie?!

If you didn’t get your Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte fill with the first two Sex and the City movies, you might just be in luck, you insatiable fan, you. As per Cosmopolitan via CBS Sunday Morning, a third Sex and the City movie is entirely possible…but there’s a catch. Our beloved Sarah Jessica Parker told Jane Pauley about whether there’ll be a third installment or not, saying,

"I will say that the idea, it rests in the butler’s pantry. It’s not on the table, but somebody is holding it fairly nearby."

We’ve been speculating on whether or not another movie would be happening for a while now, and Parker officially has us bated and hooked.

So, in translation, there’s potential for more breakfast dates with the foursome in our future. But, don’t call the restaurant for a reservation just yet.

Whatever, Sex and the City fans are probably just happy with the chance that the universe will be exhumed from the dark depths of the small and big screen graveyards. It’s been so lonely and a lot less inappropriate around these parts without them.

Though the film may or may not come to fruition any time soon (or, ever) the notion that it might is enough to send fans into a tailspin. As Cosmo points out, it’s all about keeping the “hope” alive. Because hey, if Carrie and Big could wait for each other for six whole seasons, we can wait for this, can’t we? Yeah, we totally can.
