Wait, why does grown-up Draco Malfoy look like Pacey Witter from “Dawson’s Creek”?

Last week, we were generously gifted with new Harry Potter and the Cursed Child cast photos. The Harry Potter characters we knew and loved are all grown up and they look SO ADULT and it makes us feel nostalgic and kind of sad but also excited because MORE HARRY POTTER STORIES!

While all of the photos of the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child cast are amazing, the one of grown-up Draco Malfoy and his son is especially making our hearts flutter a tiny bit. Behold! It’s Draco and his son SCORPIUS. Such a Malfoy family name, we are obsessed. false

And just Draco looking simultaneously menacing and fly AF. false

But there’s just one thing that’s been in the back of our minds, and that’s how grown up Malfoy (played by Alex Price) looks so much like Pacey Witter from Dawson’s Creek.

Are you sure you aren’t playing adult Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and wearing a white-blonde wig that’s in a ponytail and looking epically stern for life? Did you get your paws on Hermione’s Time Turner and stay forever youthful and smokin’ and then decide to star as grumpy, adult Draco? Is that a thing that happened?

We’re thinking probably not, but still — the resemblance is pretty enchanting.
