This vlogger gets freaked out recreating her high school makeup and we can all relate

When you hear the words Wet n Wild do you feel immediately transported to simpler, more terrifying time when your makeup made you look more like a zombie creature from Night of the Living Dead, than the glamorous and vibrant woman that you are now? If so, you are not alone! The wonderful vlogger and YouTube beauty expert NikkieTutorials made a tutorial of her high school makeup routine and it is wayyy too relatable!

She started the tutorial by joking about how in high school before starting her Youtube channel she barely knew that makeup brushes existed!

Next, she jokingly revealed her teen love of applying layers of Maybelline Matte Mousse Foundation, which was honestly a fave for sooo many of us in high school!

As an attempt to fit in with the popular tan girls, Nikki revealed she wore the wrong foundation color for years!

She also revealed that her high school beauty icon was a girl who wore six layers of mascara and often slept in her makeup!

Following in her friend’s smoky-eyed footsteps, Nikki would apply multiple layers of mascara — starting with the Maybelline Classic Waterproof Mascara!

She continued with the Maybelline Colossal Mascara and the Telescopic Mascara by L’Oréal and, of course, some cheek dabs of Rimmel Bronzer!

Somehow, even in her highschool makeup she still looks cute!

But seriously, you should be warned that watching the whole tutorial may induce flashbacks to all the times you meticulously reapplied purple eyeshadow before running into your freshman crush!
