This viral video of a kid refusing to run from a hail storm is going to make you surprisingly emotional
We cannot get enough of this funny video of a kid standing in a hail storm. It’s just too funny, and a little emotional.
On Monday, a Twitter user named Melina (@melliinaa_) posted a very interesting video. What started out as a strange scene with a young boy standing in a hail storm quickly became a viral sensation.
Why is it so good? Well, not only does the young man just stand there as others run, but the song is amazing. Yes, the Twitter girl added a song. The song makes it even more memorable and pulls at your heartstrings.
"I RECORDED PEOPLE RUNNING BECAUSE OF THE RAIN BUT THIS KID WAS JUST STANDING THERE SO I ENDED UP WITH THIS GEM," Melina wrote.

We’re pretty sure it’s the use of “Mad World” by Gary Jules that gets us feeling both happy and sad. On the one hand, it’s funny that the kid doesn’t run like all of his classmates.
On the other hand, he’s just standing there in a hail storm!
Why doesn’t anyone do anything? Don’t you think they’d tell him to run to safety? Plus, the song, that song, it’s too much.
All we want to do is give this guy and hug or an umbrella. Maybe both.
In addition to the video itself, other Twitter user’s reactions make us laugh and feel for “rain boy.”
Some users can’t stop laughing and watching, like these ones:
i've never enjoyed a video so much in my life
