Here’s how many people that viral pizza shop owner fed on Thanksgiving

Yesterday, we wrote about Bada Bing! Pizzeria in Springfield, Ohio. Like many places across the country, they decided to close their doors for Thanksgiving and spend the day with family and friends. They placed a note on the front of the pizzeria’s door, explaining that they’d be closed. But, they’d be inside during the afternoon with friends, family, and employees celebrating the day. The note also clearly explained that if you were hungry, you were more than welcome to join in.

Needless to say, the note Bada Bing posted quickly went viral with an overwhelmingly positive response, with many others looking to help anyway they could. More food than anyone could have expected was donated to help out, and owner Jason Hague knew that even if they did manage to run out of food, there was always pizza.

Now a day after Thanksgiving, how many turned up for the meal? Posting to Facebook, Hague shares that a hundred people stopped by Bada Bing, and in a video, explains “a feast with family, friends and employees turned out to be something much more amazing than that.”
