This video of snakes chasing an iguana from ‘Planet Earth II’ is the most intense thing we’ve ever seen
We never thought there would come a day when an iguana would be our hero, but sometimes life throws you a curveball and whaddya know, you’re fangirling over a reptile. No, Election Day hasn’t gotten to our brains (yet), but this Planet Earth II footage of snakes chasing an iguana certainly has.
BBC Earth Unplugged posted the intense scene of a group of bloodthirsty snakes chasing marine iguanas and it’s basically a visual representation of “OH, HELL NO. I’m outta here!” Ordinarily, the only snakes we want to see are on a dress worn by Zoë Saldana, but this is one of the most thrilling events we’ve ever watched.
Before you ask, the answer is yes: We absolutely screamed OMG NOOOO, when the poor hatchling marine iguana became entangled in the clutches, grips or what the hell ever you call it when a gang of slithery snakes wrap themselves around you. That was seriously THE most nail-biting, unscripted moment that TV has ever seen.
