Victoria Beckham opened up about falling in love with David, and they remain perfect as always
You may or may not believe in love at first sight, but staring a hunky international soccer player in the face might convince you that it’s totally possible to fall in love with someone you’ve just locked eyes with, especially if you’ve had a wee bit to drink. At least that’s what happened when Victoria Beckham fell in love with David.
“Yes, love at first sight does exist,” Beckham said in an interview for the October issue of Vogue UK. “It will happen to you in the Manchester United players’ lounge — although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy.”
Even though she partially blames it on the alcohol, we’re kind of thinking the former Posh Spice would’ve fallen head over heels for Beckham anyway.
Proving that they’re even more of a perfect couple than we initially thought (seriously, how is that even possible?), Beckham dished on exactly what she liked about David.
“While the other football players stand at the bar drinking with their mates, you will see David standing aside with his family. (He’s not even in the first team at this stage — you are the famous one.) And he has such a cute smile. You, too, are close to your family, and you will think how similar he feels to you,” she said.
Believe it or not, the Beckhams’ fairy tale love story gets even sweeter. Victoria also revealed that her husband still has the plane ticket she wrote her number on, and the feels are sooo real right now.
After 17 years of marriage and four children, the Beckhams have shared plenty of beautiful moments with us and we hope there are many more to come.
