Victoria Beckham is making ballerina pleated skirts a thing

Here’s one woman who can make literally anything look good. This weekend, pop-star-turned-fashion maven Victoria Beckham was spotted in Paris wearing a calf-length skirt, and she looked positively  flawless.

The designer’s skirt was a cross between a ballerina skirt and one of 2017’s hottest trends, a pleated skirt, and Bekham made it look phenomenally cool, despite the fact that its length could easily look frumpy.

Remember in high school when you’d have an overnight growth spurt and suddenly your ankle-high skirts were calf-high? Yeah this isn’t like that.

Beckham paired the pink, pleated skirt with a classic button-up white shirt, masterfully achieving the perfect feminine/masculine balance. And, as it turns out, we might be seeing a lot more of Beckham in calf-length skirts, since they’re a large part of her fall 2017 collection.

Beckham’s combination of business up top, ballerina below is also a look we can expect to see more often, since this isn’t the first time the designer has paired a skirt and shirt in this way.

And if you’re wondering how you can replicate Beckham’s super-chic pleated-ballerina look, here are some affordable fashions that will make you look crazy posh:
