Victoria Beckham couldn’t be more proud when talking about son Brooklyn going to college

All parents feel heartache when their kids leave for college — it’s a universal bittersweetness that just comes along with parenting. As for David and Victoria Beckham, they are no exception — because their son Brooklyn is going to college, and Victoria is an emotional mess. Because she’s literally every mom ever.

On Wednesday, Victoria appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden, and she talked about how she feels about her oldest son Brooklyn getting ready to leave the nest.

"Me and Brooklyn are very close," Victoria said. "We’re a very, very close family, and I’m just so proud of him and everything that he’s achieving. He wants to be a photographer. He’s so passionate about what he does ... I'm just really proud. My baby's going to college."

Brooklyn is an incredibly talented photographer. He shares some of his photos on his Instagram page so the world can check out his passion.

He takes after his parents a bit and seems to enjoy getting in front of the camera just as much as he enjoys being behind the lens.

No word on where Brooklyn will be attending college, but no matter where he goes, it sounds like his mom won’t be far behind.

“It’s probably going to annoy him, but I’m going to spend a lot of time there,” Victoria told Corden. She also noted that he’s still going to have to check in with her when he gets back to his dorm.
