Kristen Bell + ’Reading Rainbow’ + ‘Frozen’ + singing kids = a perfect world
Over the weekend, magic happened. Making good on a Kickstarter perk from their film campaign, the cast of Veronica Mars teamed up with the folks at Reading Rainbow Live to do a reading at Los Feliz Charter School for the Arts. And while it started with the cast reading as they promised, it eventually got around to what the people really want: Kristen Bell leading a “Frozen” sing-a-long.
The kids were very into the idea, and Kristen was more than happy to make it happen. Hearing Kristen Bell joke that belting “Let It Go” is “just not in my wheelhouse” is a highlight, as is her request that the kids “don’t leave me hanging.” After one awesome kid brought her a gift of some totally cool socks, she got the singing going with “Do You Want To Build A Snowman!”
