Vanessa Hudgens’ long mermaid hair is back, and no, it’s not for Coachella
With Coachella right around the corner, everything “festival style” is back. Think long flowing hair, plenty of floral, and bohemian inspired looks. And although she may by the reigning “Queen of Coachella,” Vanessa Hudgens new long locks are for a movie, not the music festival. The actress took to Instagram to post a photo of herself with her mermaid-like hair, saying that the style was for a movie. And although we’re not quite sure what movie she’s talking about, after seeing how luscious her hair looks, we know we’re going to have to watch it.
Vanessa’s long hair is accented perfectly by her frilly white bib blouse, statement gold earrings, slightly distressed denim and brown belt. The look feels very ’70s but in a modern way — blouses made tougher with leather or denim, plenty of sleek gold accents, and a cool pair of earrings to show off when you tuck your hair behind your ears. For her makeup, Vanessa kept it simple, opting for a full brow, simple face and a brownish burgundy lip. The real star of the show, however, is her hip length hair; with its auburn tone and soft waves, it really pulls the look together.
We know that Vanessa’s hair is actually short, so we have to speculate on what movie she’s making that she had to get extensions for. It was recently announced she’ll be staring in a romantic comedy called “The Pre-Nup,” so perhaps her new do is for that. Either way, we’re feeling this look.
