Urban Outfitters tapped 13 female skateboarders for its latest ad campaign, and the results are truly badass
In its new spring ad campaign, Urban Outfitters is featuring 13 female skateboarders rocking ’90s skate culture-inspired apparel, and talking about life on four wheels. And if this video doesn’t make you want to call up your best girlfriends and kick some serious ass, we don’t know what will!
In the video, directed by pro skater Steve Berra, the 13 women skate hard in UO’s wide-leg denim, loose T-shirts, and windbreakers, and share what it’s like to be a women in a male-dominated world.
“I feel when guys see us at a spot, they stop skating,” says skater Savannah Headden. “They’re just like, ‘What are they gonna do?’”

She adds, “We’re the ones that want to know, ‘What do y’all think of us?”
