If you aren’t a fan of matte shadows, then Urban Decay’s new Heavy Metals palette is made for you

If you’re more interested in decking yourself out in mesh and glitter than a minimalist athleisure ensemble, then Urban Decay’s new Heavy Metals eyeshadow palette might be the addition you’ve been looking for. The offerings in Urban Decay’s newest eyeshadow palette include 20 different shades of gaudy, glittering, guitar-wailing beauty.

This is ideal for those of us who don’t connect with the trend of nude and/or matte eyeshadow palettes and would rather lean into a palette that caters to our audacious makeup tastes. This is perhaps the best Christmas gift that Urban Decay founder Wende Zomnir could give us.

This palette looks like a makeup release from Jem and the Holograms.

Just looking at this palette makes us want to rip the sleeves off our T-shirt.

The 20 gorgeous eyeshadow shades include: Ground (sparkly black), Aluminum (molten silver), Bass (metallic bronze), Glory (golden bronze), Spandex (glimmering indigo), Dive (bright teal), Demo (rosy bronze), Starfire (copper), Punk Rock (metallic fuchsia), Afterparty (shimmery red), Angelfire (ballerina pink), Metalhead (metallic purple), Mullet (emerald green), Amp (bright teal), Roadie (red-burgundy), Maiden (iridescent beige), Twisted (sparkly gold), Glamrock (foiled silver), Scream (rosy mauve), and Acoustic (shimmery champagne). That was a mouthful, yeah?!

Ruby Rose has already generously modeled the eyeshadow possibilities for us.

We’re still waiting on details for the pricing and release date, but we’re hoping for sooner than later!

This is truly a glittery holiday gift to us all.
