And now, here’s the ‘Uptown Funk’ movie mashup we didn’t know we needed
Ready to watch ALL THE MOVIES sing “Uptown Funk?” One crafty editor spliced single spoken words from 280 movies together (yes, 280!), and together they sing Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ catchy jam. Don’t believe me? Just watch.
YouTube user DonDraperSaysWhat spent three months finding the exact words from “Uptown Funk” scattered throughout a bunch of iconic movies. Which movies? There are too many to list. From first watch it’s easy to pick out The Breakfast Club, Pulp Fiction, The Sandlot, Star Wars, Spaceballs, Tangled, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. That’s still only 7 out of the remaining 273. If you’re having trouble identifying all of them, or just want to know, if you turn on the closed captioning option the movie titles appear on the screen. And it is fascinating to watch.
While we don’t get Ronson and Mars’ sweet dance movies, at least we’ve got Napoleon Dynamite to break it down during the chorus. Check up the epic movie mashup below.
